Where can I get the traffic counts around my property?

I am looking for traffic count data for my retail property. Does anyone have a good source for this information?

It really depends on the site you're looking into. If it were a Rural, non-MSA study area then I would agree with the poster about STDB.com being a little inaccurate. However, if you're dealing with even a remotely metropolitan area, they should have very good data. I would echo the opinion that DOT is probably the best, but if you confirm and the figures are fairly similar, you're at a great advantage to be able to utilize the mapping and graphics tools of STDB and the CCIM services.

Your local department of transportation will have the most up to date information. There are a few national sources like the Site to Do Business but many of their traffic counts are 5+ years old.
