Lease commissions

Is there a standard commission for leases? Do you typical getted paid a percent for the entire life of the lease? Thanks

Also, discussing commission rate outside of your own firm is illegal!

There is no standard commission. By law a commission is negotiable and there are no fixed rates. A typical lease commission will vary by market. The commission is typically paid one-half upon lease execution and one-half upon occupancy.
